Samsung Electro-Mechanics has announced the achievement of water power micro cell capable of generating three watts of electricity. Along with this announcement they clearly said to use this cell in mobile phone facilitating a 10 hours life which is twice when compare to conventional battery.
The future lunch date has not been fixed till now, but as per Samsung Electro-Mechanics declaration at the 2007 Korea Electronics Show, these mobile phone are expected to hit the markets in 2010. The source of water power mobile is the hydrogen cell working on the principal of oxygen and hydrogen reaction. Hydrogen is generated through a reation happening between water and a special metal.
